Introduction Post

I just got introduced to Dreamwidth and would like to give it a try. Other non-humans keep asking me, if I had a blog; they'd like to read more about my experiences. And I agree, I want to share more about my non-human experiences, too. I've been using tumblr for the past 2 years on and off but never really felt very comfortable with this website. It doesn't catch me. Well, so far about how I came here. Let's write a little more about myself as an individual. Just a little kind of warning ahead: I'm struggling with introducing myself properly, but I'll do my best.
I'm a 28 years old Drake (wingless dragon) therian/otherkin. I use both terms interchangeably, and everyone who's referring to my experiences can choose which one they want to use, too. I'm part of the community for over a decade now and only started to find out more about myself, enough to be able to say that I finally know something about myself. And that's a relief that I can't put into words. Though, I'd never say I'd know myself fully because I can't. There's always something new to learn about me.
I'm a female individual and use she/her pronouns. I'm also quite spiritual, working with tarot, crystals, runes, elements and more. I was born into a spiritual family, lost track of it (and of myself) and found back to myself by getting back into these things. It's been a bit of a ride but I enjoy it. And I look at my past with pride, on the good and bad things. They're a part of me now and formed my personality a little more. I learned to see the world from different perspectives in different situations which helps me understanding other people and which gives me strength to this day.
I think this intro turned out pretty nicely. I'm happy with it. Now there's nothing left to say other than: Enjoy your stay on my blog!
